How the Day Counter Works
The tool identifies your next birthday by taking your birth month and day and placing it in the current (or next) calendar year. It then counts every day between today and that date. The calculation respects month lengths — February's 28 or 29 days, months with 30 or 31 days — giving you a precise count rather than an approximation. No rounding, no estimation.
The weeks-and-extra-days breakdown provides a second way to interpret the same number. "47 days" becomes "6 weeks and 5 days" — a format that maps more naturally to how people plan their schedules. Both representations come from the same calculation, offering complementary perspectives on the same waiting period.
